Oak Street Block Party

We are so blessed to live on an amazing street in Trussville with great neighbors and friends!  The street always does a progressive dinner at Christmas time but we thought it was a great idea to have a summer block party!  So we all gathered in our driveway and grilled out hamburgers/hot dogs, had lots of good southern sides, cold beer, and of course... homemade ice cream!!

What's a block party without fresh lemonade, ice water, and sweet tea :) 

 

 Then all the kids decided it was a good idea to have a water-balloon fight... Odds vs. Evens (one side of the street against the other)
