It has been a year…and that is why I have not blogged in so long, but that is what my next post will be about! I have SUMMER FEVER so bad… I don't know if I have ever been this ready for summer so I wanted to post a few things I did last summer!
This past summer I was busy but I managed to get a couple projects in.
This past summer I was busy but I managed to get a couple projects in.
I made this moss W for my brothers Rehearsal Dinner! I wanted to flip it over, make it an M, and keep it! But instead I will just make me my own! It was so simple. Letter and moss from Hobby Lobby, hot glue the moss to wood and done! Love it!
Another project I was determined to get done over the summer was the Cheerleading Locker Room floor. The only word to describe this floor was NASTY. No telling how old the carpet was?! I wish I had more before pictures but you get the idea. Our girls do everything in here…change clothes, get ready for games, take naps, put on make up,… so it was ready for a MAKE OVER!
Our sweet husbands helped us pull up the carpet (easy part), then scrape up the glue (hard part).
After we got all the glue up. We painted the floor gray.
Then we made a chevron stencil and Chesley (other cheer coach) traced the stencil and then I painted the chevron design with purple!
We painted DHS at one end of the Locker Room!
And of course Darb and I had to leave our mark!! #CCFL (cheer coach for life) :)
Moved the lockers and table back in
We got new huge mirrors for both ends of the room and the girls LOVE it!! They were so surprised we did all of that!!

My next project was to find curtains for our den!! I LOVE curtains, just think the finish a room, make it homey. I had looked a LOT of places for curtains but didn't want to spend a ton of money at pottery barn or anywhere like that. So I found these at Target, and LOVE!! They aren't meant to be black out curtains, but we did not need that. They are perfect for our space! Plus they were cheap! $$ :)

These boots from Target (look just like Frye's, but they are target, shhhh)
After i make chocolate chip cookies, we will freeze some and then eat later like a cookie ice cream sandwich!! So GOOD! Thanks for introducing us to this Hunt and Les!!
Also wanted to share a few of my favorite christmas gifts this year! And they seemed to be a hit!
