little late...BUT....Happy New Year!

This year we went to Nashville to celebrate New Year's and visit our amazing friends Hunter and Leslie. The Music City Bowl game was on Friday night so Daniel and Hunter went to watch Mississippi State play. Les and I went and had drinks then went to see New Year's Eve... and we both loved it!! We heard bad things about it and saw it got bad reviews but still wanted to see it and so glad we did! It was cute!
The Wednesday before we left some of our friends came out to the house for dessert and wine and it was great to catch up with them!  Miss them so much....

The Thursday night before we left for Nashville we went over to Casey's house to watch the Baylor Bowl game... her sweet boyfriend Austin is a HUGE Baylor fan so of course we were all supporting him! Go Baylor!! :)

Friday morning we left for Nashville and spent the whole weekend with the Nelsons :) We ate lots of delicious food, went shopping, late night talk sessions, and of course had a fun New Year's Eve! We miss them so much and wish they lived in Birmingham...

Reindeer Cupcakes

I made reindeer cupcakes for our Cheerleading Christmas party and they turned out so cute!

Directions:

Bake cupcakes of your choice and ice them with chocolate icing.  Use pretzels as the ears, a nilla wafer as the nose, m&m's as the eyes and nose!  I stuck the m&m's on with white icing but you could use the chocolate icing if you wanted to!  So simple and so cute!!

Christmas 2011

This Christmas was amazing! We were blessed beyond belief and so lucky to spend another Christmas with family and friends!

Oak Street Christmas Party

The weekend before Christmas we had our Oak Street Christmas party! Daniel and I feel so blessed to live on such a wonderful street with awesome neighbors! We love getting together with them and had so much fun this year at our Christmas party. We had appetizers at the Gordon's, dinner at the Ennis's house, and desserts at our house.

Evan turns 2.

I can't believe my precious little nephew just turned 2 years old...He is growing up so fast!! He is so full of energy and has such a fun personality right now! I just want to be around him all the time!
