House in Fairhope

We are currently living in Fairhope, AL and loving it!! Do we miss our family and friends in Birmingham...Of Course! But our marriage has grown so much stronger and this adventure has been great for us. I feel so blessed to have an amazing husband that is my best friend!!
We are renting a house and love it. I will admit I was being picky (Daniel would say I was being a 'Diva') but I kept telling him...we are moving away from our family and friends, so I want us to really like our house! Daniel drives over to Foley and I drive up to Daphne, so Fairhope was a great middle! 

The downtown Fairhope area is SO CUTE!!! If you have never been you should visit sometime!! It is such a great place to shop and walk around!!

Sweet Summertime...

Well...A LOT has happened since my last Blog post!! At the beginning of May we found out we were going to be moving to South Alabama near the beach! Daniel accepted a job at South Baldwin Medical Center in Foley, Alabama as the Assistant CEO of the hospital. He was so excited and I was too, but it was a hard time for both of us. Our lives and families and nephews and friends were in Birmingham...so it was hard to believe we were going to pick up and move away from all of that. But come June, it was time for Daniel to start at his new hospital so he moved to the Foley Holiday Inn Suites (he secretly loved it! Cause let's be honest...I don't change our sheets everyday, or get him fresh towels everyday, or set him out cookies everyday...so he was kinda in heaven!)
Needless to say it was a very busy summer!! I was trying to find us a house in Baldwin County while trying to sell our house in Trussville. We also had Curtis and Marissa's wedding, Allie (daniel's sister) and Wesley's wedding, a beach trip, and lots of family/friends time.
I was fortunate to get a job offer at Daphne High School, in Daphne, Alabama!! Daniel was thrilled I got a job ;) I was really excited and nervous! And thankfully, at some point in July, we found a house to rent in Fairhope, AL!!
Then at the beginning of August it was time for me to move to Fairhope. It was so hard leaving my family and friends in Birmingham but we are loving it so far. I miss my Homewood teacher friends like crazy but I am loving Daphne High School.

After Allie and Wesley's Wedding we went to the beach with my family! It was a perfect week!!

 I miss these two boys more than words can describe!!! I am so blessed to have an amazing brother and sister in law who face-time with us and send me pics and videos all the time!! AND even come to visit!!!

The next weekend...the little brother popped the question (finally!!! YEA!!)
We are so excited for Brad and Kaila! Can't wait for July 13th!!!

 Then...it was that time. The movers and moving truck were at the house and I was an emotional basket case. We loved our first house, our street, and our neighbors! It was very sad to leave, but we were excited about the next adventure God had planned for us!

So we are happily living in Fairhope, AL and loving it. I will post pictures soon of our life here!

Long over due... Easter and my birthday!

Easter and my birthday fell on the same weekend this year and it was wonderful!! 

I decided to make some Pinterest projects for Easter and they turned out pretty cute...

This Easter bunny is made out of burlap

 Daniel cut me an egg out of wood (which I was very impressed with) and made this for our front door!

 We celebrated my birthday on the Saturday before Easter with a casual lunch, yummy dessert, and an Easter egg hunt with Evan! It was perfect.
