Bulletin board and english muffin pizza!

Random blog time ~ a DIY project and an easy lunch or dinner :)
I LOVE PINTEREST!! ... I saw this burlap bulletin board under a DIY board and loved it! I went to Hobby Lobby and bought the materials and now I have a board for our laundry room!

Spray painted the push pins and the 'M'

Lay the board out on some burlap

Staple the burlap to the back of the board

You can space the push pins however far apart you would like

Hot glue the initial on the board

Final Product!

Add some pictures or whatever you would like! I made a small one to start with but I want to make a big one soon :)

I also saw this english muffin pizza on Pinterest last week and wanted to make it! Some nights Daniel works late and eats dinner at the hospital so this is a great easy quick meal for me to make and eat a salad with.
English Muffin, spread pizza sauce on it, sprinkle some mozzarella cheese, and I used turkey pepperonis on top. Then just bake it in the oven or toaster oven for a minute. It was delicious and pretty healthy!

Baby Wilson is due in Feburary :) :)

I'M GONNA BE AN AUNT AGAIN!!

Justin and Melinda (my brother and sister in law) are pregnant and due February 10th! Remember back in July when my whole family went to the beach? Well that was when they told us all they were expecting! It was so much fun! We got home from dinner our first night there and my mom, Kaila, Justin, and Melinda were in the back bedroom helping my mom make up a bed. Me, my dad, and brother Brad were sitting on the couch with Evan. I was reading him a book when I looked down and saw his shirt... it said..."I'M THE BIG BROTHER"! :) I immediately got it and started screaming! My dad and Brad still had no clue what was going on... they were very confused. I wanted everyone to figure it out for themselves (which took them a bit) but once my dad and Brad finally figured it out we all went to the back bedroom. Kaila saw his shirt and caught on but then there was still my mom...she was the last to catch on. Justin finally threw Evan up on the top bunk with my mom and she read his shirt and started freaking out! Then we all hugged and screamed and celebrated! It was wonderful and I can't wait to meet the newest addition! :) Justin and Melinda are amazing parents and this little baby is going to be so loved!

Sadly Daniel could not come to the beach with us so this is the text message I sent him to tell him they were pregnant!

Bubble Up Pizza

This quick and delicious pizza casserole is full of flavor and it would be easy to customize to your family's taste. We made ours pretty simple ~ turkey pepporoni and cheese. Daniel probably wanted a lot more toppings in it but...I was the cook... and I guess the cook makes it how they like it :)

Ingredients

Delicious!

Directions:

2 cans (12oz) golden layer buttermilk biscuits (Pillsbury Grands! Jr)

1 jar (15oz) pizza sauce

2 cups mozzarella cheese

your favorite pizza toppings - cooked sausage, turkey pepperoni, peppers, mushrooms

cooking spray

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut biscuits into quarters and place in medium bowl. Toss biscuits with pizza sauce. Add pizza toppings and half of the cheese. Toss until well blended. Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Pour biscuit mixture into pan and top with remaining cheese. Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes, or until biscuits are done.

Family Beach Trip

I spent last week in Gulf Shores with my whole family (minus Daniel, he had to stay at home and work ~ great reason to be a teacher...SUMMER TIME!). Very sad he could not go with us but it was such a wonderful week! I feel very blessed I get to spend so much time with my family and my precious nephew, Evan. He is at such a fun at age (he will be 2 in December) and makes all of us laugh!! Here are some pictures from the beach trip... I will go ahead and apologize for the amount of 'Evan' pictures.

Have you ever heard of 'Planking'? Well I had not til last week...so my brothers and dad showed me lots of youtube videos (look some up - they are pretty funny). Justin decided to plank on the deck.
